Our customer, Fundación Esplai, is a Nonprofit organization in Barcelona, Spain, dedicated to providing programming courses for unemployed young individuals, among other actions. Their mission is to equip these individuals with technical skills that can open doors to employment opportunities in the demanding tech industry.
Fundación Esplai faced significant challenges in their mission. They lacked real-time data on student performance, which made it difficult to assess learning progress and tailor teaching methods to individual needs. Moreover, they struggled to match students with potential employers due to the lack of verifiable data showcasing the students' competencies and skills.
Our startup developed an online Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tailored to address Fundación Esplai's challenges. The IDE featured programming exercises with autocorrection capabilities and real-time progress tracking. This allowed Fundación Esplai to monitor student performance in real-time and adapt teaching methods to individual needs. Moreover, the verifiable data collected through the IDE presented a reliable showcase of each student's skills and competencies, making it easier to match students with potential employers.
The implementation of our solution is transforming Fundación Esplai's programming courses. With real-time data on student performance, they could provide immediate feedback and adapt their teaching methods to improve learning outcomes. Moreover, the ability to verify student skills and competencies through reliable data has made it easier for Fundación Esplai to match their students with potential employers. Our collaboration continues as we work together to empower unemployed youth through programming education.
“Daktika is an excellent tool for teaching programming, which facilitates learning by focusing on the essential language and data structures, through kata exercises. This methodology allows students to master specific concepts step by step, building a solid foundation for more complex projects. In the classroom, the combination of Daktika with group projects has enabled both deep understanding and collaboration. I recommend Daktika for its ability to simplify and make the educational process in programming more effective.” - Sara Victor, trainer of the Coding Bootcamp - Java, '24 from Fundación Esplai
“The adaptability of Daktika and how friendly it is for new users who want to get into programming.” - Enric Brugat, student of the Esplai Foundation's Coding Bootcamp
